Francesco Cusumano è nato a Carini, Palermo, Sicilia, nel 1964. Ha studiato lingue presso la Scuola Tecnica turismo a Palermo. La sua passione per l'arte è emersa nella fase iniziale. La pittura è stata una parte della sua vita da quando era un bambino; carta e colori erano i suoi giocattoli preferiti. fascinazione dell'artista con la pittura ha continuato nel corso degli anni. In primo luogo si è insegnato tecniche artistiche figurative, raffiguranti gli spazi e le dimensioni che aveva osservato intensamente. Ha imparato a conoscere il significato che la luce e il contrasto buio hanno, come identificare la proporzione e come collocarli nel loro rapporto corretto. Presto Francesco Cusumano si rese conto che voleva andare oltre le rappresentazioni realistiche; aveva bisogno di esprimersi lasciando i suoi sentimenti prendono forma con le sue forme astratte personali e le linee. Il suo passaggio dal figurativo alla pittura astratta ha aperto la porta al suo immaginario interiore. Incuriosito dalle opere di Hans Falk e Sam Francis ha continuato la sua esplorazione sviluppare le sue abilità durante le lezioni d'arte guidati da un grande maestro, l'artista Ruedi Sieber.
Al giorno d'oggi le sue opere astratte sono interamente fatte in tecnica mista acrilico e la sua arte svolge un ruolo importante nella sua vita. Nel 2005 Francesco Cusumano è stato ammesso nella Artist Association Zurigo.
I suoi quadri sono specchi della sua anima, l'espressione visiva delle sue esperienze ed emozioni, aggiungendo sfumature alla sua vita di tutti i giorni. L'artista vuole trasmettere una sensazione di gioia e di regalo spettatori quando si abbandonano nei suoi dipinti. Ogni volta che un lavoro cattura il cuore di qualcuno, si muove lo profondamente vedere il processo personale dell'esperienza dello spettatore; come questa persona sta rispondendo alla sua pittura, associando emozioni personali e creare il proprio mondo.
Nel 2014 Francesco Cusumano pubblicato il suo primo catalogo d'arte "Lichtblicke".
Francesco Cusumano was born in Carini, Palermo Sicily in 1964. He studied languages at the Technical Tourism School in Palermo. His passion for art emerged early on. Painting has been a part of his life since he was a little child; paper and colours were his preferred toys. The artist’s fascination with painting continued throughout the years. He first taught himself figurative art techniques, depicting spaces and dimensions he’d observed intensively. He learned about the significance that light and dark contrast have, how to identify the proportion and how to place them in their proper relationship. Soon Francesco Cusumano realized that he wanted to go beyond realistic representations; he needed to express himself by letting his feelings take shape with his personal abstract forms and lines. His transition from figurative to abstract painting opened the door to his inner imagery. Intrigued by the works of Hans Falk and Sam Francis he continued his exploration developing his abilities during art lessons led by a great mentor, the artist Ruedi Sieber.
Nowadays his abstract works are entirely done in acrylic mixed media and his art plays a major part in his life. In 2005 Francesco Cusumano was admitted into the Artist Association Zurich.
His paintings are mirrors of his soul, the visual expression of his experiences and emotions, adding nuance to his everyday life. The artist wants to convey a feeling of joy and gift viewers when they indulge in his paintings. Every time a work captures the heart of someone, it moves him deeply seeing the personal process of the viewer’s experience; how this person is responding to his painting, associating personal emotions and creating its own world.
